Marketing Assistant/ExecWest End, England

Salary: £18000 - £20000 per annum + Performance related bonus

This is an exciting role for someone to come in and make their own. You won't just be a number but will be a major part of a rapidly growing events team. You will be expected to help grow the business with your hard work, ideas and ability to get the job done.

Our events are high-end, costing around £1500 per person and are delivered worldwide, specialising in the emerging markets. The target audience includes senior-level business people from banks, law firms, corporates (of various types) and high-level investors. The role does include interacting with these people and developing 1-2-1 business relationships with them.

Main duties:

-Email marketing
oData selection
oTracking & reporting
-Direct mail
oBrochure mailings
oData selection
oTracking & reporting
oLiaising with mail houses
oLiaising with designers
oLiaising with printers
-Database marketing
oSegmenting/selecting data
oUpdating the data
oNew ideas/improvements for the database
-Brochure production
oCreating/amending brochures
oLiaising with designers
-Budget management
oProcessing invoices
oKeeping budgets up to date
-Website management
oWeb improvements/development
oWorking with production to update content
-Management of LinkedIn groups
oWorking with production to create interactive content
oMonitoring groups
-Weekly revenue tracking report
oEvaluating where the revenue has come from
-Organising list research
oWorking with sales team to identify target data
oWorking with the research team to source new data
oLocating gaps in the current database
oMaintaining the quality of the data in the database with a SCV
-Providing sales with leads
-Contra deals
oListing events on 3rd party websites
oCreating beneficial partnerships
-Feedback forms
oRecording comments/testimonials

Key Requirements:

-A positive, can-do attitude
-A desire to get into marketing as a career
-Business/marketing related degree or similar
-Some previous office / admin experience.
-Good IT skills: MS Office, Excel, Google etc.

Additional but not essential requirements:

-Marketing experience is desirable but not essential
-Language skills are an advantage, especially Russian, Portuguese, Turkish or Spanish, but not essential
