Description:
This role is to work in the niche KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT side and will cover the Middle East and Western Europe.
This person will travel on average 1 week per month, probably half of it will be attending events and meetings to see clients so as much as possible is done face to face.
The candidate will be pitching and presenting at CEO level and will work on renewing existing business by creating new packages and looking to win and open new accounts …
Someone with at least 2 years' experience from a similar background of selling bespoke information packages or a competitor would be an advantage.


*This is a sales role requiring the management of an existing portfolio of business across the entire product ranges. Responsibility of these accounts is for a specified geographical region.
*It is a Key Account role. As such the clients being serviced will be drawn from leading members of the supply chain.

In addition to growing the existing client base, a key role of the job is to source new clients within the specified territories.

As such extensive travel is required within the regions, face to face meetings are essential, as is attendance at industry events, award diners and the like.

It is expected that the new hire be prepared to present multiple products
oHave sales experience, in a face to face capacity. Two years experience, minimum, is expected.
oA proven track record in sales, consistently beating sales targets over a long term period.
oDemonstrate entrepreneurialism and the ability to close multiple user sales, to multiple products, all with a high yield.
oBeing comfortable pitching to senior staff, often at CEO level.
oThe availability for frequent travel, and flexible working hours, to suit the needs of your key account clients.
oA knowledge of excel is required as is the proof the candidate can communicate effective follow up pitches in writing to a high quality, with accuracy and originality.
