Are you a Marketing Manager with a proven background in Conference or Exhibition Marketing? If so please read the below.

My client are a small and trendy company based in the heart of the city. The ideal applicant will be entrepreneurial, think outside of the box and have a proven background in Conference Marketing within a market leader


Managing Budgets and Costs You will be responsible for allocating, managing, maintaining and reporting on the event budget as set by the Managing Director. You will also be responsible for sourcing relevant suppliers (via phone contact and face to face) and securing optimum value and managing and building relationships with suppliers (the same applies to existing suppliers).

Marketing Campaigns, Websites and Data
Responsible for planning, delivering and tracking (booking patterns, ROI etc.) regular and consistent print and email marketing campaigns, delivering the right message to the right people and generating a minimum of 50% of delegate bookings through marketing. Ensuring that the event websites are constantly up to date Responsible for sourcing and managing data and building (in conjunction with the Conference Producer and Sales Manager) and maintaining the marketing database.

Association, Media, Speaker and Sponsor Marketing
Sourcing relevant event partners (in conjunction with the Conference Producer) and securing contra deals for the maximum benefit of the company (i.e. through data acquisition, advertising etc.). Tracking and managing deliverables and measuring ROI. Liaising with the Conference Producer to manage and implement speaker marketing and liaising with the Sales Manager to manage and implement sponsor marketing.

Content, Copy, Deadlines and Proofing
Working closely with the Conference Producer and Sales Manager in order to influence print (including brochures, Insider's Guides, Post Event Reports, external advertising etc.), web and email marketing copy and to ensure that it is delivering a targeted, benefit driven message to the relevant audience. Production and sales are primarily responsible for submitting copy but marketing are responsible for managing and enforcing strict deadlines. The production team are responsible for proofing but ultimate responsibility for accuracy lies with marketing.

Team and Process Management and Customer Service
Monitoring Marketing Managers and managing Marketing Executives and Research Executives to deliver on the above and to manage customer service, including delegate invoicing, chasing payment and post event follow-ups with all partners and attendees.
