Salary: £25000 per annum + Plus Comission OTE 35000

Description:
We are looking for a commercially-driven conference producer to manage and develop the Russian conference.On the production side, you will be responsible for the content of the Russian conference agendas, researching themes, developing discussion points, inviting and securing the right speakers. On the commercial side, you will be responsible for writing conference sponsorship proposals, researching potential sponsors and supporting the sales director in meetings.
What we need from you:- a natural interest in Russia, politics, economics, business and finance, allied with the potential to translate those qualities into commercially successful events that people will want to come back to time after time. Interest does not necessarily mean expertise - if you are the right person that will come. Educated to a degree level. Fluent in Russian and English.

Responsibilities of the role include:
*Overseeing conference development, from inception and programme development, through marketing to eventual delivery and post conference assessment
*Planning - forecasting conference revenues, writing conference proposals, writing conference agendas, researching potential sponsors and assisting sponsorship sales meetings
*Programme development - research and invite appropriate high-level speakers from Russia and abroad, from existing and new sources
*Marketing - accurately defining the event's target audience; creating appealing communications material in Russian and English; using a full range of online and offline marketing tactics; briefing the marketing team
*Delivery - ensuring the smooth flow of the conference; looking after the speakers and sponsors; making sure everything runs smoothly on the day
*Post-conference reviews - drafting post-conference reports, conducting evaluation and ROI, liaising with sponsors and speakers regarding feedback
*Other responsibilities - industry networking, and developing ideas for conferences; maintaining existing relationships with sponsors and potential sponsors
*Internally, liaising with the sales and marketing teams; report to senior management, presenting a top line summary of the event's practical and commercial progress
*Government relations - be a key liaison person for Russian regional governments who are sponsoring these events
*Be confident on the phone in Russian and English
*Be confident in writing in Russian and English
*Translate ad-hoc documentation, correspondence into English and Russian

NB: Russian should be mother tongue. Degree from a Russian university is not essential but desirable.
