Salary: £35000 - £37000 per annum + + 15K

Description:
We are a leading international B2B publishing and events company, organising large-scale annual events. We are truly global organisation with events in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Russia, North, South and Central America and the Caribbean.

Our fast-growing international conference business is now seeking an experienced Head of Production. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 producers to ensure the effective delivery of our large-scale annual events. The majority of the events will be produced by your team using your written briefs and you will also be required to research and develop 2-4 events a year, particularly any new event launches.

Within this role you will be solely responsible for ensuring that we are producing innovative and forward-thinking agenda, the acquisition of new and the most senior/inspiring speakers and introducing the latest innovations into the agenda formats to drive value and growth. You will take full responsibility for the strategic planning of the production team, managing and training the team of conference producers and ensuring that you and your team are effectively project managing the events to ensure a smooth execution of the event on the day. You will also be responsible for driving the marketing strategy for each event and ensuring the effective collaboration of the production and marketing team to implement a plan to generate increased delegate revenue and ensure targets are exceeded.


Person - Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
To succeed in this role you will need at least 5 years production experience including at least 2 years management experience. You will be able to demonstrate creativity, a strong commercial acumen with a successful track record of revenue growth, a proven ability to identify hot topics and convert them into new events ahead of your competitors and an ability to train and develop your team members. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment as well as be forward-thinking, driven, competitive and passionate about events.

A second language (Spanish) is preferable but not essential.
This is a full time position and international travel is an essential part of the role.
