Head of Sales City of London, England

Salary: £40000 - £55000 per annum + 25k in comms

Looking to recruit a Sales Manager. They will head-up all sales and business development functions with the business. This includes a team of over 20 sales split into 3 different sales team each with their own unique roles, focus and KPI's.

Management -

*Develop plans and strategies for developing new business and achieving sales goals
*Providing leadership on important, high-value bids and opportunities
*Managing sales information including conversion rates, key targets, pipeline management and KPIs
*Excellent Coaching skills to ensure high levels of motivation at all times
*Strategy formulation and implementation

Sales -

*Selling tailored in-house training to the client base in their region. It is a consultative sell where expectations have to be clearly understood and can involve extensive negotiations with multiple parties
*Face to Face meetings - setting up & conducting meetings with our key (and potential new) clients overseas to better understand our client's needs and increase total revenues (public and in-house) from the region
*Client Relationship Management - build strong relationships with L&D personnel & line heads at existing and new clients. To become a trusted advisor of L&D teams and ensure that we capture a greater % of their training budget. Cross selling range of public courses, tailored training and eLearning
*Manage multiple and complex proposals - Ability to orchestrate complex proposals and manage multiple deals at the same time ensuring that momentum is maintained on all

*Demonstrable experience and success in a similar position in the financial/professional services or training industry
*Outstanding relationship building skills, both internally and with potential clients.
*Strong people and project management skills.
*Thorough understanding of the intricacies involved in complex sales and long selling cycles.
*Enthusiasm and drive.
*Excellent Interpersonal skills - high levels of emotional intelligence are needed to decide on best choice of trainer and manage expectations of clients, trainers and team members
*Strong Academic background
*Willingness to travel
*Language skills would be an advantage
