Event Producer (CP) West End, England

Salary: £27000 per annum + 4k Bonus

We pride ourselves on running great events throughout the year, from highly focussed discussions to our conferences which attract hundreds of senior (re)insurance industry professionals, advisers and investors.

You will be key to the success of our events and responsible for researching topics, writing agendas as well as identifying and recruiting senior level industry speakers for all events. This however is not your typical producer role - being part of a small company you will work heavily with the Editorial, Sales & Marketing teams, and also work with the Events Manager to ensure that each event surpasses expectations. It is truly unique!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experiences events producer, preferably in the Financial Markets/(re)insurance industry.

You responsibilities will include:
*Researching and keeping abreast of latest industry news to produce industry leading events
*Developing cutting edge conference programmes
*Researching and booking speakers for all events.
*Attending all events as a speaker liaison. Making sure all speakers are briefed and looked after while at the event.
*Researching and booking speakers for all events.
*Liaising with our Art Director to produce programmes for all conferences and awards ceremonies.
*Responsible for all scripting for events and conferences.
*Collaborating with the Events Manager and Events Assistant on the creative vision for Awards. Attending all meetings with our AV Production companies.
*Collaborating with the Events Manager to research new venues and attend site visits.
*Available on site at all events for ad hoc event queries.
*Organising judges meetings for both awards ceremonies. Liaise with awards judges in the lead up to the evening to ensure all of their needs are met.
*Responsible for organising conference calls with speakers to brief them in advance of events.
*Responsible for organising Monte Carlo roundtable/s- the Monte Carlo events will be distributed based on work load between the team members.

Person - Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
*Experienced event producer, preferably in the financial sector
*Bright, confident individual with proven research knowledge and strong commercial acumen
*Able to quickly grasp new ideas, think on their feet and work to deadlines
*Employ excellent communication skills to deal with senior decision makers, securing top level speakers
*Relationship building and negotiation skills to create own industry speaker leads and topics
*Able to work independently and as part of a team within a pressurized environment
*Excellent organisational and project management skills and most importantly, a drive to succeed is essential to assist in the smooth running of the event
