Do you enjoy analysis, presenting data, analysing findings and looking at key market trends?
This role will be central to online services team and the development of this team through the provision of key management information and analysis to enable the Online Services team to provide a market leading online educational experience to our students and develop our products and services to maintain this position.
The initial objective of this role will be to provide support to the Performance Support team and Clients by providing reporting analysis on key trends and data. Over time, we expect this role to work across the Online Services team, helping us better understand our students, processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Creation of Management information for key stakeholders. Such information may include the following:
o Daily educational performance reports for our proactive and reactive support teams
o SLA reporting for key metrics in the online learning sector
o Benchmarking and comparative data
* Ensure high quality analysis of educational data
o Individual will work with key stakeholders to understand key variables in identifying and tracking the exam success and retention of our students
o Communicate key findings to all appropriate stakeholders
* Investigation of key trends and variances to understand the drivers for such trends. The role would also lead on the communication and further discussion of such analysis.
* Share examples of best practice data analysis in educational context
* Specific reporting data for key stakeholders such as educational performance reporting for specific key corporate clients
* Role will need to provide regular feedback and facilitate workshops with the Online Services team to ensure that lessons learnt/feedback is fed into the product/service development roadmap

* Make suggestions to improve the working situation within own area of work

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required for role
* Highly computer literate, including advanced Excel knowledge
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills, preferably in an educational background.
* Have the confidence and ability to communicate technical/complicated ideas and analysis to an audience of varied knowledge and experience
* Proficient in the use of general computing packages such as Word and PowerPoint.
* Working experience in a data-driven analysis and ability to produce regular reports and insight
* Well-developed problem solving ability
* Accurate, persistent with excellent attention to detail.
