We are a global consultancy and information company based in Canary Wharf, London. We are running high quality business to business meetings across the EU, US and ASIA.

We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Delegate Sales Exec and Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be energetic with a good track record.

You must be a highly motivated, organised and confident individual who understands the whole sales process and takes a consultative approach for each prospect. Excellent negotiation skills and a professional telephone manner are required in addition to fluent English. You will need to have a minimum of 12 month experience and be able to demonstrate previous sales achievements. Due to the international location of some of the conferences you must be willing to work flexible hours if required.

MAIN DUTIES:

Cold call potential new clients.
Source own leads
Respond to incoming leads immediately and effectively.
Follow up on all campaign data effectively.
Follow up leads to ensure maximum new business generation.
Ensure all incoming leads recorded on relevant databases.
Establish strong relationships with the key decision makers as well as having multi-level contacts within organisations.
Research and identify new business opportunities;
Explore opportunities for greater penetration into other parts of a client's group of companies and/or subsidiaries;
Maintain the required activity and appointment targets;
Participate in exhibitions, seminars, conferences and corporate hospitality and other networking opportunities as and when required;
Flexible availability for attendance at the type of function outlined above.
Build an excellent communication channel with all members of the team and Management.
Handle incoming calls and channel them to the appropriate level.
Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Management.

THE PERSON:

You must be degree educated - undergraduate/masters prefers, have 6 months Sales/telesales experience gained within a B2B environment.
English language is a must - Written and fluently spoken
Proactive and Results driven;
Excellent telephone manner;
Display drive, enthusiasm, commitment and tenacity;
Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities with pace and deliver against a target;
Focused with a real hunger to succeed;
Extremely well organised, paying particular attention to detail;
Positive approach to responsibilities;
A team player who can also work on own initiative.
An excellent communicator with both clients and team members
IT literate
