Salary: £35000.00 - £45000.00 per annum

Working closely with the Joint Managing Director and founder of this successful Agency which is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. Providing full services for the delivery of Events and Exhibitions worldwide including in-house Logistics, Production, Graphics, Print and Video.

I am looking for a certain type of person to help take some of the load from the MD, someone who can act and respond on his behalf but in the same style and manner that the clients have become accustomed to. Most importantly maintaining the Agency's core and very high standards which have built the business to what it is today. You may currently work within a Corporate, Events or Media company and all applications will be judged on merit. But this role could take you far. The essential criteria I am looking for are below.

Gravitas, the first impression you give will inspire confidence. The MD and clients must feel secure in your ability to communicate in person and in writing. And very often at a high, sometimes top, client level. The ability to write well, listen and be accurate in your understanding of decisions and actions from meetings is absolutely essential. Commitment to delivery is a must.

You need to be numerate enough to understand a spreadsheet, budgets (and be able to prepare them), P &L accounts.

Responsible and relish accountability but be open to discuss and take guidance, so no control freaks.

You will have a vibrant personality, interests outside of work to make you a well-rounded and enjoyable person to be around but also a hard working and committed additional member to the team. Making teamwork work is essential internally and externally.

The Agency is renowned for delivering a first class global service which means being flexible; you will need to travel and work long hours some of the time. Early starts a likelihood.

Confidence - enough to be able to explain why you are making certain decisions and to stand by your decisions if you feel they are 100% right so no shirking of responsibilities.

Proactive - see it and do it. Do what you say and say what you mean! Be ahead of the game always.
