Senior Marketing & Communications Manager - Large Scale Global Events - International Travel

Rare opportunity to join this niche team of a very well established Event concern.

You will need that extra "zing" and have the passion and creative talent to promote and market these industry leading events that attract up to 15,000 attendees. You will be responsible for the entire marketing strategy across these events as well as delivering the marketing campaigns.

The objective is to maximise delegate attendance, develop innovative and exciting marketing plans using new technology and digital marketing. To understand and communicate the event brand and represent the company, developing strong relationships with clients both established and new.

You will also manage the PR and Press activity for the events which includes writing press releases, working with a PR company to ensure successful delivery of all PR strategy and on site management of 300 plus media at each event.

The ability to lead and manage, able to present and assist in writing proposals is key.

This is a varied and exciting role where you will need to demonstrate a minimum of 4 years commercial experience of working in a direct marketing role, preferably gained within a b2b conference marketing environment. Marketing degree/CIM qualified (or equivalent) with excellent communication skills. Strong creative flair, strategic and analytic with first class time management to manage multiple projects.
