Salary: £28000 - £32000 per annum + 8k

Must have at least 12 months experience as a Conference Producer.


-Maximise the commercial success of the events
-Identify the commercial edge of the event
-Develop and nurture key client relations
-Coordinate with all members of the team to ensure the successful delivery of the event during the production cycle and on site
-Motivate, influence and encourage project team to produce the best
-Increase revenues on existing events
-Maximise revenues on new events and identify the key hooks to enable a new event to grow commercially in the future
-Effective time management, upholding work rates and deadlines
-Ensure quality is delivered in every aspect of the event and especially in relation to the program and client relations
-Ensure values are implemented in all products and performance and are promoted in the company and externally (All our values are based on the 4 core factors of Commitment, Innovation, People and Excellence)
-Be an ambassador and represent the firm in a professional and capable way to clients and partners

Responsibilities include:

-Research topics and identify the commercially attractive topics and angles
-Obtain official support from key organisations through face to face presentations
-Define and ensure a commercial edge is identified and delivered.
-Identify the structure of the events that would best deliver commercial success and maximum benefit to clients
-Communicate to Directors the commercial viability of the product and ways to maximise revenues
-Source, invite and confirm senior-level speakers on the phone and through face to face meetings
-Nurture existing speaker contacts and ensure new contacts and speakers are being identified and introduced to the events.
-Network before during and after the event to expand client base and strengthen relations
-Work closely with business development managers to identify the principle targets for sponsorship, how they will be integrated in the program and the event and what the benefits are for the sponsors
-Write marketing and sales briefs and identify target market
-Deliver sales briefs and work closely with delegate sales to ensure the right delegates are signing on for the event and are being contacted and that he right message is being delivered
-Communicate with Marketing to ensure the necessary marketing pieces/ mediums are being used at the right time with the right messages to ensure the commercial success of the event
-Lead, enthuse and motivate team working on event, including business development (sponsorship), marketing, event management, delegate sales
-Manage event budget
-Manage relationship with partners if applicable and travel to countries to meet and strengthen these relationships
-On the day: run event in conjunction with event manager
-Identify new growth areas for the events and build strong conference brands
-General: develop contacts and ideas for future events
-Reinforce and further enhance their strong, quality reputation
